Green beans are a great vegetable that can be prepared in a variety of ways. They give the dish a strong green color and are therefore also a super ingredient to make a great looking food.
Beans must always be cooked before eating to destroy the toxin phasin. So also always pour the water in which the beans were cooked away.
We prefer to prepare our green beans as bacon beans. They fit perfectly to hearty dishes such as lamb or a good steak. You can find our bacon beans recipe here.
Bacon beans recipe

- 600g of beans
- 8 Bacon stripes
- olive oil
- First of all clean the beans and cook them in hot salted water for about 6 minutes. Then take them out of the water and let them cool down.
- Then take the beans and divide them into 8 bundles. Wrap each bundle firmly with bacon. Salt and pepper them vigorously.
- After that place them on a pre-heated grill or in a pre-heated pan. Grill them from all sides until the bacon is crispy. Bon Apettit!
